A highly regarded first album. Recorded before The Liverpool Scene started to break up. For years I have thought this album came without any sleeve notes, but Gianpaolo Banelli tells me that it did in fact come with an insert - which I don't have. This album featured some great musicians and some very impressive song writing. The star of the front cover, the lovely sheepdog, was 'Seithenyn' - named after the legendary Welsh drunkard Seithenyn ap Seithyn Saidi, from Thomas Love Peacock's "The Misfortunes of Elphin". | ||||

A beautiful album, full of atmosphere and haunting music. This album should have been massive. Tracks like 'Keep my Children Warm', 'I've seen the movie' and of course 'Nina', are timeless favourites and still sound wonderful 30 years on. | ||||

Ill fated attempt to form a band with Bob Sargeant. Andy and Bob didn't gell together musically and the band's roadie, Paul Scard, died in a vehicle crash, badly affecting all the members of the group. The album is dedicated to Paul.
