PLAINSONG'S RED SOFA GIG 1996

"This gig was at a high school in Salzburg, Austria. The event was sponsored by a local furniture showroom, who were anxious for us to appear at some point of the evening sitting on the two red leather sofas which graced the otherwise rather bleak stage. Naturally we obliged. I think we sang 'Bluebird Morning' The other memorable aspect of this show was arriving in Salzburg to discover that we'd left Griff's bass guitar back in the hotel in Ravensburg, Germany. However, we did manage to borrow one from a very accommodating music store." ANDY ROBERTS
