PETE McCARTHY
You were as dry as dust
and as warm as toast
You found your home on the Brighton coast
You were as soft as silk and as loud as war
Now you're a harbour bell from a distant shore
One of these days when this Cliffhanger ends
You'll be waiting at the bar for your family and friends
Good night, dear brother, good night

Friends and
fans of Pete McCarthy will be able to pay their final respects
at a memorial service in Brighton.
