The Amazing Adventures of ... The Liverpool Scene
The new Liverpool Scene anthology, 1968-1970, entitled The Amazing Adventures of …The Liverpool Scene, is released today (29th June 2009) by Esoteric Records, a division of Cherry Red.
With a running time of 80 minutes for each CD this release represents superb value for money, and has been the culmination of 7 years work for Andy, who first had to recover the rights to all the material from Sony BMG, and then curate the compilation. The project has been overseen by John Reed, who was formerly head of Castle Records, the division at Sanctuary Records that put out Andy’s solo anthology in 2005. John now works as a freelance co-ordinator, and has been invaluable in bringing The Amazing Adventures of … The Liverpool Scene into existence.
